Old Man

Old Man

This was a picture that I finished in May of this year. I think it is my favorite of the ones that I’ve done (as weird as that is), and it is definitely one of my best!

I used graphite on Strathmore 400 Series paper. I like this paper because of its very light cream tint, which gives the picture an older look (since you can’t get anything completely white). If you want to see it bigger, you can click the picture.

I based this picture on the photo Masarwa Man by Jon Rawlinson. So a big thank you to Rawlinson!

This is an amazing drawing, I love pencil and charcoal and do some myself, but the detail and texture that you achieved with this one is awesome!

    • Thank you so much! :)
It has taken a long time to learn but it is so worth it, I think, and really this was very relaxing to work on (a lot of the art I do is).
